David Reynolds, James Courtney to race new-look Camaro at Bathurst
Reynolds/Courtney swap to #48 to celebrate new Snowy River Caravans range
New livery to remain for Gold Coast 500, Sandown 500 Finals rounds
David Reynolds and James Courtney will arrive at Mount Panorama with not only a new livery, but also a new number at the Repco Bathurst 1000.
The usual turquoise Snowy River Caravans livery will be replaced by a brand new 'electric blue' livery, celebrating the launch of 48-volt power technology across Snowy River's 2027 range.
Reynolds will also adopt the #48 on the new look livery, with the '48V' moniker prominently placed where a door number would otherwise be.
The branding will also feature prominently on the bonnet and doors of the Camaro, with the livery to remain in place for the first two rounds of the Finals on the Gold Coast and at Sandown.

“The new electric blue Snowy River Camaro looks awesome. It has been exciting to work with Snowy River throughout the season, and Bathurst is the perfect place to launch these new colours and showcase their 48-volt technology," said Reynolds.
“Changing from No. 20 to No. 48 is a cool way to bring the whole campaign together. It’s a completely new look for the car and I think it’s going to stand out when it hits the track at Bathurst.
“It’s also great that we’ll continue running the livery at the Gold Coast and Sandown. They’re three massive events and the car is going to stand out wherever it goes."
Reynolds narrowly missed adding a second Bathurst crown to his CV last year, finishing second to Matt Payne in an epic last lap duel for victory.
This year, Reynolds is joined by Courtney in a combination that has a combined 1131 career starts, 39 of which have come in the Bathurst 1000. Courtney is yet to climb the the top step at Bathurst, having claimed four podiums.
The Reynolds/Courtney combination finished a delayed 22nd at The Bend, in what marked Courtney's first start in any racing category since he called time on his full-time Supercars career at Adelaide last November.
Courtney added: “It was great to be back in race-team land at The Bend after spending all year on the broadcast. Even after sustaining damage early, it was still valuable to get back into the rhythm of a race weekend and spend more time in the car before Bathurst.
“The conditions were treacherous and among the most challenging I’ve experienced in a race car. In many ways, that was good preparation for Mount Panorama because Bathurst can change so quickly and you need to be ready for absolutely anything.
“Working with Dave was every bit as much fun as I expected. We had a great time together and worked really well as a combination, so I can’t wait to experience Bathurst week alongside him and the team."
Fans can get a first look at the re-numbered #48 Chevrolet at Bathurst at the Track to Town parade of Wednesday, October 7, before it hits Mount Panorama in anger for the opening practice session the following day.
