New collection unveiled as part of Peter Brock celebrations
David Bromley's collection celebrates life of Brock, 20 years after passing
Collection includes 15 originals and seven limited-edition prints
As part of this year's Repco Bathurst 1000 and celebrations of Peter Brock's legacy, renowned Australian contemporary artist David Bromley has partnered with Supercars and the Brock family to create a unique art collection honouring the nine-time Bathurst 1000 winner.
A centrepiece of this year's Brock Experience, the Bromley x Brock x Supercars collaboration has been commissioned specifically for the Repco Bathurst 1000, forming part of a broader celebration of Brock's achievements.
The Brock Experience at Bathurst will also feature original race cars, memorabilia, historic vision and immersive fan activations at multiple sites across Bathurst.
Bromley has reinterpreted Brock’s story in his distinctive artistic style, combining vivid colour and nostalgia with iconic motorsport imagery to create a contemporary interpretation of one of Australian motorsport’s most enduring stories.
The collection sits at the intersection of Australian art, motorsport history, popular culture and the significance of Bathurst, Mount Panorama and Peter Brock.
“I am delighted and honoured to launch this collection and appropriately pay tribute to both a motorsport legend and an Australian icon,” Bromley said.
“I aimed to create a new way for his loyal fans to engage with his story while also showcasing his achievements to new audiences through the very powerful and emotive medium of art.”
The Bromley x Brock x Supercars collection comprises 15 original artworks for sale, including Peter Brock portraits, Brock-themed car artworks and Mount Panorama-inspired pieces, along with seven limited-edition print editions.
The prints are signed and numbered, produced from selected artworks in the collection and provide an accessible way for fans to own part of the Bromley x Brock x Supercars collaboration.
Key print images include two portraits and two car artworks, with sizes comprising 50cm x 70cm and 90cm x 70cm. Indicative pricing is $750 and $1100 unframed.
The centrepiece of the collection is a specially commissioned original hero artwork measuring 152cm x 183cm, with an RRP of $21,000.
Created specifically for the opening television broadcast of the Bathurst 1000, the work depicts Brock at the foot of Mount Panorama holding the James Hardie Bathurst 1000 trophy, recognising the record nine victories that earned him the title 'King of the Mountain'.
Bromley has generously donated the original artwork to be auctioned in support of the Starlight Children’s Foundation, a charity chosen by the Brock family. The charity auction is set to go live at 9:00am on October 1 via this link: auctions.officialmemorabilia.com.au

Alexandra, Peter’s daughter, of the Brock family said the artwork was a distinct and unique homage.
“David’s artwork captures dad’s life in unique, rich detail, and we couldn’t be happier to be part of the collection that we know aficionados will savour,” Alexandra said. “These pieces will make a stunning statement no matter where they are displayed.”
Supercars Executive Chairman and acting CEO Barclay Nettlefold said the collection would provide fans a unique way to connect with Brock’s life and legacy during the sport’s greatest event.
“The Repco Bathurst 1000 is where Peter Brock's connection with generations of fans was established, making it the ideal place to showcase this collection,” he said.
“It is a privilege for Supercars to collaborate with David and the Brock family on a project that will give fans a new way to connect with the King of the Mountain and his impact on Australian motorsport.
"These works need to be seen in person to be properly appreciated, and we look forward to putting them on show at part of the Brock Experience next week in Bathurst.”
