Broc Feeney, Anton De Pasquale join Anton Kostecki in exclusive Gen3 club
Feeney, De Pasquale, Kostecki the only drivers to win with two brands in Gen3
Feeney claimed first Ford win, De Pasquale first Chevrolet win in Sydney
Broc Feeney and Anton De Pasquale added themselves to one of the most exclusive groups on the current Supercars grid at the DUNLOP Sydney 500.
After De Pasquale's Race 2 victory split Feeney's dual wins to kickstart his campaign, the duo have joined Brodie Kostecki as the only drivers to win for more than one manufacturer in the Gen3 era.
Since the current regulations took effect for the start of the 2023 season, Kostecki became the first driver to claim race wins on both sides of the classic GM vs Ford rivalry.
Having won both a championship and a Repco Bathurst 1000 in the space of two years driving Erebus Motorsport Camaros, Kostecki took his first Blue Oval win at Townsville last year for Dick Johnson Racing.
Triple Eight's high-profile switch was always bound to bring success, which was duly delivered upon at the first time of asking, as Feeney and Triple Eight delivered a flawless performance.
After debuting in a Tickford Mustang alongside James Courtney at Bathurst in 2020, followed by 121 consecutive starts for GM, 25 of which were Gen3 wins, Feeney added his name to Ford ATCC/Supercars honour roll.
The next night it was De Pasquale's turn, adding to his dominant 2023 Townsville win, at the helm of the DJR Mustang that Kostecki would take over a year and a half later.
Moving to Team 18 last year, results built through the season, and with Chevrolet handing them homologation status, De Pasquale delivered his own statement victory.
Other drivers who could add themselves to the list this year include Will Brown, Chaz Mostert, Ryan Wood, David Reynolds, Andre Heimgartner, and Cameron Hill.
Their next opportunity to join the current trio will be at this coming weekend's Melbourne SuperSprint from March 5-8.
