Bryce Fullwood claimed three top 10 finishes in front of home crowd in Darwin
2019 Super2 champion moved up four positions in the championship
Just 147 points below cut-line, Fullwood not giving up on Finals chase
He may only be 16th in the Repco Supercars Championship, but Bryce Fullwood isn't counting himself out of The Finals just yet.
Now in his fourth year at Brad Jones Racing, the 27-year-old has been on a hot streak of form lately, starting with a third place finish in Race 11 in Tasmania, and continuing with a further four top 10's since.
Three of those top 10's came at his home event in Darwin alone, with Fullwood taking his #14 Camaro to seventh in the betr Darwin Triple Crown standings.
Although he is only in 16th in the standings, 147 points behind 10th-placed Anton De Pasquale, the 2019 Super2 champion is quietly confident that he has the momentum to make a real challenge for the top 10.
"Yeah, really good weekend for us, really strong," said Fullwood on Supercars' Cool Down Lap podcast.
"I feel like the last few rounds the car has had really good speed, we just haven't capitalised on it. I suppose the consistency hasn't been there for me.
"But I feel like this round, even though the speed wasn't quite there for me today, we were able to just capitalise and bring it home seventh for the weekend, so really happy with that."
Fullwood has enduro sophomore and BJR Super2 star Brad Vaughan alongside him this year for The Bend and Bathurst, with the young South Australian's speed something that hasn't been questioned in his Dunlop Series career, beating Kai Allen to the 2022 Super3 crown.
The #14 Camaro also has strong form in the enduros, claiming seventh at Bathurst in 2023 and ninth at the Sandown 500 last year.
"It's really cool the way the points system is this year. If we have another really good few rounds like we've been having, then the sky is the limit really.
"If we can get top fives and keep rolling on, those points are going to be really valuable, so at the moment I'm just playing it race by race, just trying to do the best we can, and the rest will look after itself."
A Finals berth could also serve well for Fullwood's future in Albury, with Andre Heimgartner the only driver locked in at BJR for 2026 amid their impending switch to Toyota Supras.
The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship continues at the NTI Townsville 500 from July 11-13. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
