Broc Feeney becomes third driver to win Darwin Triple Crown
Feeney follows Scott McLaughlin, Jamie Whincup as Crown winners
Kai Allen second for weekend, Matt Payne third, Will Brown fourth
Broc Feeney was the man in the Top End, winning all three races from pole position to take out the betr Darwin Triple Crown.
Introduced in 2006 under a three-race format, the Darwin Triple Crown currently represents topping the weekend point-score.
It went unclaimed through the first 13 years, until Scott McLaughlin (two races and a Shootout) and Jamie Whincup (round points) won in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
In 2025, the dominant Feeney put it beyond doubt with a perfect triple, taking home 300 points and five extra bonus points for the fastest lap in Race 18.
Kai Allen was an impressive second overall ahead of Penrite Racing teammate Matt Payne, while reigning champion Will Brown was fourth despite failing to claim a trophy.
Andre Heimgartner and Bryce Fullwood sandwiched Anton De Pasquale, with Brodie Kostecki eighth ahead of Cam Waters, who benched 45 points after losing a wheel in the final race.
Remarkably, despite crashing out of the first race, Jack Le Brocq rounded out the top 10, courtesy of his strong run from second to fourth on Sunday.
With Feeney crushing the field and Brown winning the Larry Perkins Trophy in Melbourne, Triple Eight Race Engineering has now won two of the biggest trophies in 2025.
The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship resumes at the NTI Townsville 500 on July 11-13. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
