The inaugural Campbell Little Award has been presented to long-time Triple Eight Race Engineering crew chief Kris Goos.
Named in honour of the late engineer, the Campbell Little Award recognises the contribution of a member of the Supercars paddock.
On the award, Mark Larkham said: “Campbell left a great legacy on the pit lane and this is a way of making sure that legacy continues."
The award is voted on by the Supercars Motorsport team, which recognised Goos’ efforts in 2025.
Nicknamed ‘Gooey’, Goos joined Triple Eight in 2011. He has held the roles of crew chief and workshop manager, and has been a part of 11 of the team’s record team teams’ championships.
Goos was presented with the award by Larkham and Chief Motorsport Officer Tim Edwards on Friday at the bp Adelaide Grand Final.
“It gives you emotion just thinking about it,” Goos said on the broadcast.
"I can’t thank everyone enough. Jeepers, thanks.”
More awards will be presented throughout the weekend and at Monday night’s Gala Awards.
