Nick Percat to run #222 in final full-time Supercars weekend
Number change part of several tributes planned by MSR in Adelaide

Matt Stone Racing have revealed a special tribute for Nick Percat ahead of his final full-time Supercars event this weekend at the bp Adelaide Grand Final.
MSR have swapped out Percat's usual #10 for the #222, Percat's first full-time Supercars number as the 37-year-old gears up to finish his full-time career in his home state this weekend.
Percat, the most successful driver in MSR's Supercars history, will also be celebrated with thank you messages throughout both his Bendix Camaro and the MSR pit garage.
The 2011 Bathurst winner became synonymous with the the number throughout the early phase of his full-time Supercars career, running the number in his rookie campaign with Walkinshaw in 2014, before taking it to Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport in 2015 and 2016.
Percat enjoyed plenty of success in the #222, scoring two third place finishes at Bathurst (with Oliver Gavin in 2014 and Cameron McConville in 2016), but it was at Adelaide where Percat achieved one of his crowning glories.
On a wet and wild Sunday in 2016, Percat claimed a shock Adelaide 500 win after LDM played the strategy game in a truncated race, with the win being the team's sole Supercars victory.

Percat also ran the number throughout his Super2 Series career from 2010-12, as well as a season of Porsche Carrera Cup in 2013.
“It’s very special to finish my full-time Supercars career back in #222, it’s a bit of a full circle moment,” said Percat.
“I’ve had so many big moments and memories with that number, from Carrera Cup and Super2 through to Supercars.
“To race it for the final time at home in Adelaide, and bring up my 100th start in the number, makes this weekend even more meaningful.”
Percat, who currently sits 17th in the standings ahead of the bp Adelaide Grand Final, will join Red Bull Ampol Racing for next year's enduros alongside Broc Feeney, with Jamie Whincup stepping back for the foreseeable future.
Percat joins James Courtney and Will Davison in making their final full-time starts this weekend, with the trio to be celebrated before the final race of the year on Sunday.
On-track action in Adelaide begins on Thursday.
