Broc Feeney takes on NRL stars in tug of war challenge
Feeney leads Supercars championship, Bulldogs on top of NRL ladder
Triple Eight Camaro goes head-to-head with Bulldogs players
Triple Eight Race Engineering has revealed a unique 'tug of war' challenge between championship leader Broc Feeney and Bulldogs NRL stars.
Feeney put his Red Bull Ampol Chevrolet Camaro to the test against some players from the current NRL ladder leaders, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
NRL and NRLW players Matt Burton, Jacob Preston, Viliame Kikau, Tayla Preston, Alexis Tauaneai and Anglina Teekaraanga-Katoa fought tooth and nail with Feeney’s Camaro.
The players grappled with a Supercar that weighs over 1300kg and has more than 600 horsepower.
The video of the challenge was released to YouTube, which is now available to watch.
Feeney won the first leg, before the playing group expanded and took out the final two legs.
“It’s a hard cross over but at the same time, they are operating at the highest level of their sport, and we’re trying to operate at the highest level of ours," Feeney said.
“I didn’t really know what to expect, but for it to come to life pretty quick has been a lot of fun.”
Supercars are currently on track in Perth for Round 5. Fans can watch live on Foxtel and Kayo, with highlights on the Seven Network. International fans can watch on SuperView.
