Supercars and Penrite continue Bathurst partnership
Iconic Australian family-owned and manufactured company, Penrite Oil will again be the official Oil and Lubricant Partner of the 2021 Repco Bathurst 1000.
Penrite Oil announced Thursday it would partner with the Repco Supercars Championship as the official Oil and Lubricants partner of the biggest race in the country.
This year is the fifth consecutive year that Penrite has been a Supercars partner and in 2021 coincides with their strong support in the category, through major sponsorship of David Reynolds' #26 Penrite Racing Ford Mustang.
To celebrate Penrite’s partnership, the famous uphill right-hander Turn 2, Griffins Bend, will be rebranded Penrite Oil’s Griffins Bend during the race week.
The corner has played host to many big moments; among those in recent years was Mark Winterbottom narrowly holding off Jamie Whincup on the last lap to win the 2013 Great Race, and the mammoth crash between Warren Luff and Craig Lowndes the year after.
Penrite has been a Supercars partner since 2017 and is the event’s official oil partner again in 2021, with its signage to be easily recognisable to fans at Mount Panorama and those watching around the world.

Penrite Oil CEO Toby Dymond said the support of Supercars' Great Race is a perfect fit for the homegrown Australian company.

The Repco Bathurst 1000 will be a six-day blockbuster event featuring 10 categories from November 30 ahead of the Great Race on December 5. Tickets are available through Ticketek.
