PremiAir decision imminent after co-driver evaluation

The 2025 Enduro Cup grid is set to be completed this week following a PremiAir Racing evaluation day.

The Chevrolet team shared Ipswich’s Queensland Raceway with Triple Eight Race Engineering on Monday.

There, a PremiAir Camaro was driven by Super2 driver Nash Morris, Trans Am star Nathan Herne, and V8 SuperUtes racer Cody Brewczynski.

The trio was assessed as potential co-drivers for the #62 entry alongside Richie Stanaway.

In a post at day’s end, PremiAir confirmed it will make an announcement before the end of the week.

Former Triple Eight boss Roland Dane was on hand on Monday with PremiAir, helping the team with its decision.

Morris, son of 2014 Bathurst 1000 winner Paul, has long been in the frame to secure the drive. However, Herne remains in contention, with PremiAir to make a call this week.

It would be a debut for either driver in Supercars.

The seat alongside Stanaway is the final vacancy on the 2025 Enduro Cup grid, with the 24 full-time entries to be joined by wildcards from Triple Eight, Tickford Racing and Matt Stone Racing.

All told, 16 Chevrolet Camaros and 11 Ford Mustangs will contest the AirTouch 500 at The Bend and the Repco Bathurst 1000.

All 27 cars and driving combinations will take to Queensland Raceway for a pre-enduro test day at Queensland Raceway on August 12, two days after track action concludes at the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440.
