The fans have spoken, and decided driver will take out this year's Repco Supercars Championship.

In a Supercars.com poll, fans were asked who would end the season on top, ahead of the 2025 season opening event at Sydney Motorsport Park.

The poll closed before the weekend was out, and in a tight result, coincidentally, the drivers who finished first and second in Sydney on points were also first and second in the poll.

Tickford Racing star Cam Waters won the poll with 25% of the vote, just ahead of reigning champion, Triple Eight Race Engineering driver Will Brown.

Here’s how the voting broke down amongst the top five:

    • Cam Waters, 25%

    • Will Brown, 24%

    • Chaz Mostert, 17%

    • Broc Feeney, 13%

    • Brodie Kostecki, 11%

Waters won from poll on all three days of the Sydney event, while the ultra-consistent Brown rounded out the weekend with two podiums.

Walkinshaw Andretti United driver Chaz Mostert also claimed two podiums and ended up third in the poll, ahead of Brown's teammate Broc Feeney.

In a somewhat surprise, 11% of fans believe Dick Johnson Racing recruit Brodie Kostecki can get the job done in his first season in a Shell V-Power Racing Team Ford Mustang.

In a sign of where the fans think the wins will come from in 2025, the top five brought home a whopping 90% of the total vote.

The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship will resume at the Melbourne SuperSprint, which will feature at the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025 on March 13-16.
