Pizza Hut naming rights for Winton round

Iconic international brand Pizza Hut has expanded its partnership with Supercars and will be the naming rights partner of the Pizza Hut Winton SuperSprint later this month.

Earlier this year, Pizza Hut began an exciting new partnership with the Repco Supercars Championship by becoming the official and exclusive Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) partner of Australia’s premier motorsport category.

This is the first time the instantly recognisable brand has taken naming rights to a Supercars event and expands the Pizza Hut sponsorship in 2022.

Pizza Hut signed on for 2022 to sponsor signage on the track map segment of Supercars’ broadcast and become an official partner of the Dunlop Super2 Series category.

Later this year the iconic brand will feature as an official partner of the Supercars Eseries with their own entry into the online racing competition.

The collaboration marks a milestone for Pizza Hut in support of an ambitious expansion strategy to double the number of restaurants and surpass 500 stores in the next four years.

Supercars General Manager – Commercial, Jamie Black said he’s thrilled Pizza Hut is on board as the naming rights partner of Supercars return to Winton in 2022.

"We’re thrilled Pizza Hut has extended its partnership with Supercars and will be this year’s naming rights partner of the Winton SuperSprint," Supercars General Manager – Commercial, Jamie Black said.

"Winton is a spectators’ dream because it’s one of the few circuits where all on-track activity can be seen from any vantage point."

CEO of Pizza Hut Australia, Phil Reed announced the launch of the sponsorship by celebrating both Supercars and Pizza Hut Australia’s great heritage and true place in the hearts of many Australians.

The Pizza Hut Winton SuperSprint will run at Winton Raceway from 20-22 May with the Repco Supercars Championship on track Saturday and Sunday.

Supporting Supercars at Winton this year are the sports emerging stars in the Porsche Carerra Cup, Formula Ford, Aussie Racing Cars, National Sports Sedans and V8 SuperUtes.
