New look, sponsor in Tasmania for Pye

Scott Pye will carry new colours and East Coast Car Rentals backing at the upcoming NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint.

Pye will race the #20 East Coast Car Rentals Camaro at Symmons Plains on May 19-21.

The rental car company is the fourth naming rights partner on the Pye entry in as many rounds in 2023, after Hino, Resimax and Toyota Forklifts.

Team 18 has also signed East Coast Car Rentals as the team's official car rental partner for the remainder of 2023 season.

Pye’s Camaro will feature yellow in Tasmania, having carried a red and black look for the first three rounds.

East Coast Car Rentals will also appear on the front bar of Mark Winterbottom’s #18 DEWALT Racing Camaro for the remainder of the season.

A display version of Pye’s #20 East Coast Car Rentals Camaro is on display at Launceston Airport.

"They’re a new partner to the sport which is exciting, and we’ll be sure to give it everything to deliver them a strong result in Tasmania.

“Symmons Plains should produce plenty of action with the new Gen3 cars. It’s a bullring circuit and after the margins we sure in Perth I expect the competition to be closer than ever in Tasmania.

"We had a pretty strong round last year with two top tens, so we’ll work to build on that this year.
