Supercars drivers Chaz Mostert, Will Brown and Ryan Wood have finished second overall in a 12-hour charity race at Queensland Raceway.

Walkinshaw Andretti United teammates Mostert and Wood combined with Triple Eight star Brown and Brendan Lake to claim a podium in their Hyundai Excel.

The race, staged by Motor Events Racing, began at 10:00am and finished after dark. Motor Events Racing events are limited to cars with a RedBook value of $5000 or less.

Mostert, Brown and Wood chronicled their day on social media, with Brown leaving midway through the race to take part in his post-Perth debrief with Triple Eight.

“It was good fun, honestly, long race,” Wood said in a social media post, standing alongside his co-drivers and their Hoonigan-backed Excel.

“To finish second was pretty surprising.”

Supercars champion Brodie Kostecki and Super2 points leader Kai Allen also took part, but their day ended early due to electrical dramas.

The 2024 Repco Supercars Championship will resume in Darwin on June 14-16.
