Legends Signing Session for Sandown fans

Fans will have the opportunity to meet with their Supercars heroes during the Penrite Oil Sandown SuperSprint.

Craig Lowndes, Garth Tander, Jamie Whincup, Tony D’Alberto and Michael Caruso will feature in a Legends Signing Session at Sandown.

Fans can meet the drivers before the first Supercars race at Sandown International Raceway on Saturday.

The autograph session will take place under the Grandstand, closest to Paddock entry from 2:45pm.

It comes after the co-drivers took to the track for the Additional Driver session on Friday.

It marked their first and only practice time before October's Repco Bathurst 1000. 

Whincup topped the 30-minute session, recording a 1:08.230s ahead of fellow Red Bull Ampol Racing co-driver Tander.

A second all-in signing session with the current Supercars drivers will take place behind team garages from 9:25am to 9:55am on Sunday August 20.

Fans who have purchased a Paddock Pass can grab a free poster and get an autograph during the 30-minute appearance.

Heavyweights Shane van Gisbergen, Chaz Mostert and Anton De Pasquale will feature along with popular veterans James Courtney, Will Davison and Mark Winterbottom.

Fans can also meet the rising stars of the Dunlop Super2 Series at an all-in signing session at 1:50pm on Saturday.
