Supercars is urging fans to hop aboard the free public transport options available to get to and from this year’s Perth event

As excitement revs up for the upcoming Bosch Power Tools Perth SuperSprint, Supercars is urging fans to hop aboard the free public transport options available to get to and from this year’s highly anticipated event.

Free trains and busses to the circuit from the city

In a bid to make the event accessible to all, complimentary bus and train services will be in full swing on the Trans Perth network for event ticket holders throughout the race weekend.

Free train services will be available to Clarkson Station near the circuit.

A dedicated shuttle bus will ply between Clarkson Station and the event venue at Wanneroo at regular intervals.

Saturday May 18 Shuttle Bus Schedule

  • 7:00am (Departure from Clarkson Station to event)

  • 5:45 pm (Last departure from event to Clarkson Station)

Sunday May 19 Shuttle Bus Schedule

  • 7:00am (Departure from Clarkson Station to event)

  • 5:45pm (Last departure from event to Clarkson Station)

Special Assistance Shuttle

Furthermore, an accessible free shuttle service will cater to the needs of fans requiring special assistance between Clarkson Station and the circuit.

Limited Free Parking

Free parking will be available at the event venue, accessible via Gate 4 off Wattle Avenue East.

A traffic management plan will be in place where two lanes will be going in and one out, switching to two lanes out and one in later in the day.

From 4:00pm, left and right turns out of Wattle Avenue East on to Old Yanchep Road will be available for motorists to transit towards the Perth CBD. WA Police will be in attendance to assist directing traffic and maintaining consistent traffic flow.

Supercars would like to emphasise to fans that long traffic queues can form, particularly at the end of each race day.

Supercars strongly encourages all ticket holders for race days to consider public transport options before driving and parking, for ease to get in and out of the circuit in a timely manner.

Taxi and Rideshare

A designated taxi and rideshare zone will be conveniently located within the bus terminal, nestled inside Gate 2, providing a convenient drop-off and pick-up spot for fans utilizing these services.

Event Details

This year's Bosch Power Tools Perth SuperSprint follows the sold out debut for Supercars at Taupō in New Zealand earlier this month.

Next month’s trip to Western Australia is expected to draw its own large crowd, with local fans expected to cheer on Perth’s homegrown defending Supercars champion Brodie Kostecki on home soil for the first time since he won his maiden title and became just the second WA-born driver to win a Supercars’ driver crown.

The Ballajura product put his name on the radar as a true championship contender with his performance in Perth in 2023, where he went door-to-door with three-time Supercars and Bathurst 1000 champion Shane van Gisbergen in the race of the season.

Kostecki walked away with three podium finishes from all three races of the event to set up his run at the 2023 crown.

The 26-year-old made a solid return to racing in New Zealand, and the #1 Erebus TFH Camaro driver is looking to return to the winners’ circle at CARCO.com.au Raceway from May 17-19.

Perth 2023 in two minutes: All the drama

Kostecki is one of three local drivers that fans will be barracking for in Perth. Rookie Aaron Love will make his Repco Supercars Championship home debut at the Wanneroo circuit, while adopted Perth resident and NZ race winner Andre Heimgartner is looking to continue the form that saw him claim an emotional victory in Taupō.

This year's event will be the 45th time the Australian Touring Car Championship/Repco Supercars Championship has visited the Western Australian permanent circuit.

The WA venue holds the mantle as the circuit to have hosted the most races in Supercars/ATCC history, and in 2024 will rack up races 96 and 97.

The combined Dunlop Super2 and Super3 Series will return to Perth in 2024, a fan-favourite series where the best up and coming drivers in Australia and NZ battle it out in ZB Commodores and Ford Mustangs.

Three other support categories will make up a packed line up for fans to watch on track including the popular Touring Car Masters Series, Aussie Racing Cars and Radical Cup Australia Series.

Red Bull Ampol Racing teammates Will Brown and Broc Feeney won two of the three races in Perth in 2023, and lead the Repco Supercars Championship heading into the trip across the Nullarbor. Brown is 71 points clear of his teammate heading to Races 9 and 10 of the season.

All ticketing options including corporate, grandstand and general admission for the Perth SuperSprint are available through Supercars.com.
