UPDATE 3 FINAL: 1815hrs Sunday 6th April 2014

Matters arising from Qualifying Race 9:

Following an investigation and admission of careless driving by Garth Tander Car #2, holding up Car #36 Michael Caruso, the Stewards imposed a penalty of Loss of 5 Grid Positions for Race 9.

Matters arising from Race 9: 

The Stewards imposed Pit Lane Penalties for Speeding in Pit lane:

  • Rick Kelly, Car #15 at Pit Entry.
  • Scott McLaughlin, Car #33 in Pit Lane.
  • Russell Ingall Car #23 at Pit Entry.
  • Robert Dahlgren, Car #34, in Pit Lane.
  • Fabian Coulthard, Car #14, in Pit Lane.

The Stewards imposed a penalty of 30 Team Championship points and a Fine of $3000 on Walkinshaw Performance for allowing a wheel from Car #47 (Tim Slade) roll into the fast lane. Rule D12.7

Matters arising from Qualifying Race 9:

Following an investigation and admission of careless driving by Garth Tander Car #2, holding up Car #36 Michael Caruso, the Stewards imposed a penalty of Loss of 5 Grid Positions for Race 9. 

UPDATE 2: 0930hrs Sunday 6th April 2014

Matters arising from Qualifying Race 7:

The Stewards imposed a penalty of Exclusion from Race 7 Qualifying Race 7 for Car #34 Volvo Polestar Racing for breaching Parc Ferme regulation, Rule D14.5.1.

Matters arising from Qualifying Race 8:

A fine of $350 was imposed on Fabian Coulthard Car #14, for exceeding Pit Lane speed limit (44kph).

Stewards issued a warning to Car #23 Russell Ingall for not parking in Pit lane in accordance with Rule D6.1.5.1 during Qualifying Race 8.

Matters arising from Race 7:

The Stewards imposed a Pit Lane Penalties for overtaking before the control line on the Safety Car restart:

  • Michael Caruso Car #36.
  • Rick Kelly Car #15.

The Stewards imposed a Pit Lane Penalty on Russell Ingall Car #23 for causing contact on David Wall Car #17 at Turn 9.

Following an investigation and admission of careless driving by James Moffat Car #360, causing contact with Car #15 Rick Kelly, the Stewards imposed a penalty of Loss of 25 Championship points.

Investigations were conducted into the following incidents and no breach of the rules was established:

  • contact between Rick Kelly, Car #15 and Jason Bright, Car #8.
  • contact between Nick Percat, Car #222 and David Reynolds, Car #55
  • contact between Lee Holdsworth, Car #4 and Nick Percat, Car #222.

The IO is investigating other matters involving Rassell Ingall Car #23 and Lucas Dumbrell.

Matters arising from Race 8:

There were no issues.

Matters arising from Practice - Part 2:

A fine of $350 was imposed on Nick Percat, Car #222, for exceeding Pit Lane speed limit (45kph).

Matters arising from Practice - Part 3:

A fine of $350 was imposed on Scott McLaughlin Car #33, for exceeding Pit Lane speed limit (44kph).
