The Repco Supercars Championship will have increased support from local mechanics across the country starting in 2023, as Repco Authorised Service becomes the Official Car Service Partner of Australia’s premier racing series.

Repco Authorised Service boasts Australia’s largest independent car service network with 550 workshops around Australia, and with a nationwide warranty provides drivers the support of Repco, Australia’s largest auto parts and car accessories retailer.

"We are genuinely excited to be partnering with Supercars and what this will bring to our workshop owners, their staff and their customers," said Peter Rogers, National Manager of Repco Authorised Service.

"Our workshops are family-owned businesses who provide high quality car maintenance and repairs, coupled with genuine family values and service. Not surprisingly, our customer base is largely typical Aussie families who rely on their cars, and they rely on their local Repco Authorised Service mechanic.

"Supercars are synonymous with automotive engineering excellence and this partnership, alongside the support and endorsement of Repco, casts a new, bright light on our member workshops and their high standards of expertise."

"Being already part of the family as Repco Authorised Service Centres, this partnership is a natural fit with Repco’s overall series partnership. Our workshop owners are avid Supercars fans and many of them are participants or supporters of grassroots motorsports, and this partnering with the pinnacle series provides even further connection to the sport."

Repco became the naming rights partner of the Repco Supercars Championship and the Repco Bathurst 1000 in 2021, in December last year announced an extension of that partnership through at least 2028. Having celebrated its 100th anniversary last year, Repco has deep ties to motorsport both domestically and abroad, having famously developed the engine used to power Sir Jack Brabham’s BT19 to the 1966 Formula One World Championship.

"Our partnership with Repco continues to go from strength to strength with the appointment of Repco Authorised Service as the Official Car Service Partner of the Repco Supercars Championship," said Jamie Black, Supercars’ General Manager – Commercial.

"This extension of our partnership further demonstrates Repco’s tremendous commitment to Australian motorsport. Of course, Supercars fans love their cars, and this is a fantastic way for us to connect our fans to Repco Authorised Service mechanics across Australia.

"We are looking forward to rolling out this partnership as we race across Australia and continuing to grow our fantastic relationship with Repco and Repco Authorised Service."

The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship officially gets underway this weekend at the Thrifty Newcastle 500, kicking off a 12-event season with race events across Australia.
