Former racer and team owner Mark Larkham shared many pearls of wisdom in his return to the broadcast in 2021.

The popular broadcaster reported from pit lane and the Hino Hub across the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship season.

'Larko' broke down the technical side of Supercars, from how to service a car and team strategies to grading the greats of the sport.

The former Bathurst pole-sitter reported from pit lane at the season-opening Repco Mt Panorama 500.

There, he began with an explainer on the challenges teams face in designing liveries.

He also explained the shocks and springs used in a Supercar, but not before opening with a humorous microphone mix-up.

At the OTR SuperSprint, Larkham broke down the five-kilometre-long Tailem Bend circuit.

In explaining the technical nature of the Grand Prix-style circuit, Larkham poked fun at fellow broadcaster Mark Skaife.

Larkham moved to grade the greatest drivers in ATCC/Supercars history in the wake of Andre Heimgartner’s maiden Supercars victory at The Bend.

Supercars drivers faced their first street circuit test of the 2021 season at the NTI Townsville 500 in July.

Refuelling made a return during compulsory pitstops in the 250km races, with teams trying different strategies.

The resumption of the 2021 season saw Neil Crompton return to the commentary box at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Unable to travel to New South Wales due to border restrictions, Larkham presented from the Hino Hub at the Shell V-Power Racing Team workshop in Queensland.

While explaining his involvement in the Gen3 Unpacked series, Larkham didn’t miss the opportunity to welcome Crompton back to pit lane.

Larkham returned to the paddock for the Repco Bathurst 1000, and showed off a new gadget to get fans closer to the set-up of a Supercar.

Using a small hand-held camera, Larkham crawled underneath a Kelly Grove Racing Ford Mustang to discuss the importance of shock absorbers.
