Teams put through their paces in crucial test

Northern Supercars teams have hit the track at Queensland Raceway ahead of this month’s betr Darwin Triple Crown.

Red Bull Ampol Racing and Shell V-Power Racing Team were joined by Nulon Racing and Truck Assist Racing.

Teams were greeted to sunny skies and a full day of running, a far dry to Winton earlier this week.

Triple Eight has three Camaros and six drivers on track — its two Red Bull Ampol entries, and the Supercheap Auto wildcard.

Craig Lowndes and Zane Goddard are getting their first taste of the new Camaro, the third racer built out of Banyo.

Will Davison and Anton De Pasquale are joined by respective co-drivers Alex Davison and Tony D’Alberto.

Matt Stone Racing has Jack Le Brocq and Cameron Hill on-site, along with signed co-driver Jayden Ojeda.

Also joining MSR is Jaylyn Robotham, who is with the team ahead of a possible co-drive alongside Hill in the #35 Camaro.

Nulon Racing is also running both cars for James Golding and Tim Slade, with Matt Chahda and Kurt Kostecki also completing laps in a bid to secure a co-drive.

Aaron Seton is also testing his Gomersall Motorsport Super2 Commodore, with the Dunlop Series to resume in Townsville next month.
