V8 Supercars Chief Operating Officer Shane Howard said the two-hour, adrenalin packed show will kick off an epic weekend at the Castrol EDGE Gold Coast 600.
"The Castrol EDGE Gold Coast 600 is a weekend of high octane entertainment, and the Sea FM Friday Night Drags is just that," he said.
"To see these incredibly machinery burn some rubber and light up the track at night time is a spectacle in itself.
"Rev-heads do not want to miss this adrenalin-packed show of speed and horsepower!"
The show will take place between pit entry and turn 15 on the circuit. Entry to the Sea FM Friday Night Drags are included in your ticket to the Castrol EDGE Gold Coast 600.
But there's no need to wait until the evening for some action -see see the V8 Supercars lay down some rubber for the first time today in their four practice sessions, kicking off at 9.35am.
Between the practice sessions, head on over to the best trackside party, Club 600. Join Australia's hottest female DJs at the exclusive Las Vegas-style day club and check out the Podium Bar and Hookah Lounge.
