Fox Sports' dedicated Bathurst channel will return on Monday October 7, kicking off the network’s week-long coverage of Supercars’ Great Race.

Fox launched its coverage plans in Sydney this morning, with a host of star drivers in attendance, including reigning winners Craig Lowndes and Steven Richards.

Lowndes is the new star of Fox’s Bathurst line-up, continuing his regular-season expert comments role while also co-driving with Jamie Whincup in the Red Bull Holden Racing Team.

He’ll feature in a special 2018 Bathurst Winners Debrief show alongside Richards on Wednesday October 9, reviewing their triumph.

A special episode of Supercars Trackside will also be shown on the Wednesday, kicking off 45 ours of live broadcasting from the circuit.

That will include every Supercars session live, led by Saturday’s ARMOR ALL Top 10 Shootout and Sunday’s 1000km race ad-break free.

Peter Campbell, Head of Fox Sports said: “Bathurst is Grand Final day for Australian motorsport and Fox Sports, on Foxtel, is the ultimate place to watch all the action unfold.

“We have a dedicated channel, starting on October 7, and are live from 7.30am on race day, then completely ad-break free for the entirety of The Great Race from 11.30am with the best commentary team in the business.

Team owners’ press conferences are also set to be broadcast on Thursday and Saturday - the latter featuring Ryan Story, Michael Andretti, Zak Brown, Roland Dane and Ryan Walkinshaw.
