Erebus launch automotive servicing business

Erebus Motorsport has launched an expansion of its operations, announcing an automotive repair and servicing business aptly titled ‘Erebus Garage’.

In what has been a difficult time for businesses globally, the Melbourne-based squad had been looking into ways to broaden its operations and the new venture was a natural progression.

“We are really proud to be launching a new side project to truly diversify our business,” said Erebus CEO Barry Ryan.

“It is a natural fit with what we already do, and relates to almost all our current partners, or at least those in the automotive industry.

‘’Finding ways to continue our business and keep as many of our team employed as possible has been at the core of our decisions.

“We nutted out a lot of ideas and tried to think outside the box to embark on sustainable projects that we can deliver, and we feel that Erebus Garage is a big step towards doing that.’’

The new venture will run parallel to Erebus Motorsport, drawing on its racing heritage and capabilities to offer a variety of services to the public.

Keeping true to its roots, Erebus will not only service everyday and performance vehicles, but also offer car customisation services, vehicle builds, restorations and even race car preparation.

“We are very excited to grow our business and utilise all of our skills to a larger degree,” Ryan said.

‘’We have some of the country’s best car mechanics, fabricators, designers and race car operators all under one roof, so we know we can provide an excellent service.

‘’We are in direct contact with our fans and lovers of cars and motorsport.

“If we can be a destination for the everyday person with a family car to the motorsport tragics with their custom pride and joy, to race vehicles, then we believe we are a name they can trust to look after them. “

The workshop at Dandenong South has been transformed to be the headquarters for Erebus Garage.

‘’Our sponsors have been brilliant in getting on board with the project and we’ve built stronger links with our current partners Penrite, Ryco, DBA, Pedders and Snap-on; while establishing new partnerships with Repco, Cool-Drive, Capricorn and several other well-known and required partnerships for automotive repair and servicing success.”

Scheduled to open its doors Monday June 1, Erebus Garage is now taking bookings.
