
Queensland Raceway returns for the eighth round of the Supercars calendar: the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440, with the last race being held at QR in 2019.
There will be plenty happening in and around Queensland Raceway and Ipswich in addition to heart stopping racing and the crowning of the Repco Sprint Cup winner.
This will be an unforgettable round to remember, and here are the top things to check out!
1. Thursday Free Fan Event:

Thursday will mark a long-awaited return back to Queensland Raceway, with a free community event at the Nicholas Street Precinct, in the heart of Ipswich on Thursday 7th August from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
A free autograph session will take place from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where fans can snag an autograph and a selfie with their favourite Supercars drivers. Free posters will be available.
The event will also feature Supercars and Superbikes displays, local car club showcase, driver simulators, food vans, SuperKids zone, live music and prize giveaways.

2. Signing Sessions:

There will be three Supercars signing sessions (inclusive of the session on Thursday) where fans can get an autograph and a selfie with their favourite Supercars drivers, see below dates, times and locations:
Thursday 7th August: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Nicholas Street Precinct
Friday 8th August: 10:40 AM to 11:10 AM in the Supercars Paddock*
Sunday 10th August: 8:20 AM to 8:50 AM in the Merchandise Area
Dunlop Super2 Series:
The Dunlop Super2 will also have signing sessions throughout the weekend, below are dates, times and locations:
Friday 8th August: 10:40 AM to 11:10 AM in the Supercars Paddock*
Saturday 9th August: 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the Merchandise Area

3. Support Categories:

The Dunlop Super2 Series, mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul, Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia and TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Australia GR Cup will be racing throughout the weekend at the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440.
Dunlop Super2 Series:
Races 7 and 8 will take place at Queensland Raceway, with Race 7 kicking off on Saturday from 2:45 PM. Sunday sees Race 8 commencing from 12:25 PM, after the Supercars Boost Mobile Top Ten Shootout.
mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship:
ASBK has three races throughout the weekend, with Race 1 kicking off from 11:40 AM on Saturday. Races 2 and 3 take place on Sunday at 8:55 AM and 1:55 PM, respectively.
Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia:
The Porsches take to the track for three races over the weekend, with Race 1 commencing at 2:05 PM on Saturday afternoon, and Races 2 and 3 kicking off on Sunday from 8:00 AM and 1:20 PM, respectively.
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Australia GR Cup:
The GR Cup also has three races taking place over Saturday and Sunday. Races 1 and 2 take place on Saturday from 7:35 AM and 11:05 AM, respectively; and Race 3 will cap off their weekend on Sunday from 11:05 AM.

4. ADF Display, Race Simulators, Kids Zones, Engine Start Up Challenges & more:

There will be plenty of activities on during the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440, with the Australian Defence Force located at the southern end of the Merchandise Alley showcasing their latest gear and a glimpse into what they do.
Race simulators will be located in the Entertainment Zone, where fans race on different tracks and challenge others to set the best time!
The Entertainment Zone will also host two different kids zones, including the SuperKids Zone featuring a variety of activities to keep kids occupied and having fun in between race sessions; as well as the Hot Wheels Kids Zone with Hot Wheels play tables, a third table with three epic slot car track sets, plus interactive games that challenge and excite and much more!
The Engine Start Up Challenge features twice a day, every day from Friday to Sunday. Cars, bikes, karts and Mack trucks go head-to-head in the ultimate Engine Start-Up Challenge. It’s a battle of brute force, sound, and style. There will also be displays and demonstrations from Team Slammer, Door Slammer Burnout Car and Spotto 57.
Lastly, take a walk to the southern end of Merchandise Alley to visit the Stunt Bike Zone for heart-pounding stunts from professional stunt bike legends: Tjay Stunz, Adam Green and Matt Mingay.

9. Ipswich Track Schedule:

Supercars will hit the track on Friday with two Practice sessions, with the first session beginning at 12:05 PM and the second practice session kicking off from 2:35 PM.
We then head into Saturday with back-to-back Boost Mobile Qualifying for Races 23 and 24 at 9:30 AM, and 10:20 AM respectively. As with the Super 440 format, Qualifying is in two parts, where the top 10 drivers from the 10-minute Part 1 go through to an eight-minute all-in session in Part 2 to decide pole.
Races 23 and 24 will take place on Saturday at 12:45 PM and 4:10 PM, respectively - and will consist of 39 laps.
Sunday caps off the weekend with a three part Boost Mobile Qualifying, beginning at 10:20 AM where eight cars will be knocked out in Part 1, then eight cars in Part 2. Part 3 (Top Ten Shootout) will then take place at 11:40 AM and determines who takes the Boost Mobile Pole Position for Race 25.
Finally, Race 25 will commence at 3:15 PM over 63 laps.
10. Transport, Parking and Event Information:

We highly recommend all fans to utilise public transport to and from the event. Click here to plan your trip on the Translink website.
Shuttle buses run from Ipswich Train Station in Bell Street to the track on Saturday and Sunday Only - free when you show your event ticket. Please Note: These are not Wheelchair accessible.
Parking:
If you are driving to Queensland Raceway, access to the paid and free carparks is via Champions Way, off Cunningham Highway, or from Paynes Road.
NOTE: Paynes Road will not allow access through Champions Way or to inside the venue.
Free Parking will be available as you enter, please follow the signs. Paid VIP Parking closer to the entrance is available and can be purchased through QR's website by clicking here.
Dropping Off/Picking Up:
For fans being dropped off or picked up either by car, Taxi or Rideshare (Uber, Ola, etc) - please note the drop-off and pick-up point is Albert Theaker Park, corner of Champions Way and Cunningham Highway. Fans can then use the shuttle bus service to get to the racetrack.
Accessible Parking & Drop-Off/Pick-Up:
Accessible Parking and drop-offs/pick-ups are located at Car Park A as you enter. Please ensure you display your Accessible Parking Permit.
11. Camping:

On site camping will be available for fans attending the 2025 Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440, marking the championship's return to Queensland Raceway from August 7-10.
This allows fans to camp just 500 metres from "The Paperclip" circuit and fully immerse themselves in the weekend's action.
The dedicated camping area offers a self-contained, secure, and social environment, with fans able to bring tents, campers, or caravans.
Campsites are sized at 8m x 10m, accommodating up to six people and one vehicle (tow vehicle or motorhome only) per site. The cost is $300 - event tickets are sold separately.
On site amenities include BBQs (no open fires), showers, toilets, food trucks, and ice sales, all supported by 24/7 security.
Gates for campers open at 12 PM on Thursday, August 7, with check-in available until 5 PM that day or from 10 AM to 6 PM on Friday. All sites must be vacated by 10 AM on Monday, August 11.
