Team BOC and Freightliner Racing will go green as leading brand Hitachi Power Tools Australia puts its support behind the Albury squad.

The Team BOC Commodore will have prominent signage across the bonnet for Phillip Island and Perth, then continue with alternate signage across both the teams V8 Supercar and Dunlop Series entries for the rest of the 2016 season.

Hitachi Power Tools Australia is a market leader when it comes to high quality professional power tools, outdoor equipment and accessories and has been growing its involvement in motorsport to reach even more of its target audience.

Hitachi Power Tools Australia has been involved in the recent Bathurst 6-Hour event and supports the National Pumps Monster Energy Kawasaki race team in its Australian Motocross efforts and Hi-Tec Drifting Australia. 

The BJR workshop in Albury is reliant on power tools in all areas of the business, from the fabrication shop and the engineering department, to the trucks hauling all the race gear. Angle grinders, jigsaws, power drills, vacuum cleaners and pressure washers are just a small amount of the multipurpose tools that the team need to use daily.

Team boss Brad Jones said: “Not only does Hitachi Power Tools Australia supply us with equipment that we use in the workshop, they have all the tools required to complete your trade workshop, building site or home shed from top to bottom. Their product range is extremely versatile.

“We are excited to represent the Hitachi Power Tools brand and of course all the boys in the workshop are looking forward to getting their hands on their fantastic equipment. The team use everything from drills, torches, heat guns, essentially if it runs on battery, electricity or petrol, we use it.

“If the guys driving is anything like it was at Tasmania, a lot of people will be seeing the green Hitachi Power Tools front and centre on their TV screens this weekend.”
