The Repco Supercars Championship is excited to announce the introduction of the Repco Bathurst 1000 Aurora heritage train, a unique transportation experience designed to mark the 60th anniversary of the Repco Bathurst 1000.

Race fans will have the opportunity to travel back in time aboard the 1960s ex-Southern Aurora train, journeying from Sydney's Central Station to Bathurst Railway Station.

The scenic route will take passengers through the spectacular Great Dividing Range, featuring awe-inspiring views from Mount Victoria to the picturesque hills surrounding Bathurst.

The train departs from Central Station on Friday, October 6, 2023, arriving in Bathurst later that evening. The return journey to Sydney is scheduled for Monday, October 9, 2023.

During the journey, passengers will be provided with private sleeping quarters and complimentary meals, including an in-room lunch on Friday and breakfast on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Passengers aboard the Aurora will receive General Admission to the 2023 Repco Bathurst 1000, with daily coach services available from Bathurst Railway Station to the iconic Mount Panorama Circuit, ensuring seamless access to the thrilling on-track action.

Rooms aboard the Aurora start at $2,995 per person, with various upgrade options available, including ticketing, meals, and access to an exclusive Q&A session with a Bathurst legend.

The Repco Supercars Championship celebrates the 60th anniversary Bathurst 1000 this October 5-8, where 28 Gen3 Supercars and 56 drivers will be set to take on Australia’s most gruelling motor race.
