
The 2026 Repco Supercars Championship is back! Roaring to life under lights at Sydney Motorsport Park, headlined by the debut of the Toyota GR Supra, and three days of Repco Sprint Cup racing, one being DUNLOP Free Friday.
1. A new era: Toyota GR Supra debuts

Fans will be able to catch the Toyota GR Supra on track, as it makes its debut with homologation team Walkinshaw TWG Racing, as well as Brad Jones Racing (BJR).
The GR Supra has logged some pre-season laps, testing at Queensland Raceway last week, and completing full laps alongside the Camaro and Mustang at the Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour.
It starts with Practice 1 at 1:55pm on Friday, check out the track schedule for more info.
2. DUNLOP Free Friday:

Friday at the Sydney 500 offers free general admission, making it one of the most accessible events on the calendar.
DUNLOP Free Friday gives fans the chance to:
See the first Supercars race of the season
Experience the first of two night races on the Supercars calendar
See the Toyota GR Supra debut on track
Get behind the scenes with FREE paddock entry for all fans
3. Signing Sessions:

Meet your favourite Supercars and DUNLOP Super2 drivers at signing sessions throughout the event weekend, grab a selfie and an autograph. There will be free posters at the sessions:
Supercars Signing Session: Friday, 12:20pm to 12:50pm
DUNLOP Super2 Signing Session: Saturday, 3:10pm to 3:35pm
4. Party in the Pit Concert:

Aussie icons Jet will ignite the Supercars season-opening Sydney 500, with a Saturday night rock concert on pit straight at Sydney Motorsport Park.
The ‘Party in the Pit’ concert takes place immediately after Saturday night’s Supercars race at the Sydney 500, with all tickets granting access to the pit straight track and grandstands at the Eastern Creek circuit.
In addition to Party in the Pit Concert, fans get FREE entry into the Supercars Paddock, grab an autograph at the Supercars signing session, and families can enjoy the kids zone with Inflate & Skate nearby.

8. Track Schedule:

Supercars kicks off at 1:55pm (AEDT) on Friday afternoon with the only practice session of the round, then moving into Boost Mobile Qualifying for Race 1 at 4:20pm. The season then gets underway at 7:50pm with Race 1.
Saturday begins with Boost Mobile Qualifying for Race 2 at 3:40pm, where the top ten will proceed forward to the Top Ten Shootout at 4:35pm, and will determine the running order for the 52-lap Race 2, which commences at 7:35pm.
Then on Sunday, Boost Mobile Qualifying for the third race commences at 12:10pm, followed by Boost Mobile Top Ten Shootout at 1:05pm. Then the final race for the round kicks off at 4:05pm.
There is also plenty of racing from our support categories, with DUNLOP Super2 Series, Tyrepower V8 Superutes, GR Cup and Touring Car Masters appearing throughout the weekend.
9. Parking & Traffic Restrictions:

Fans driving to Sydney Motorsport can take advantage of three different parking options for the weekend:
Free parking is available at the track - please visit the 'Getting Around' section on the event page for more information and follow signs/event staff when arriving at SMP.
