2022 Supercars grid: What we know so far

The 2022 Repco Supercars Championship continues to take shape, with Broc Feeney confirmed at Red Bull Ampol Racing.

The teenager, who currently leads the Dunlop Super2 Series, will partner Shane van Gisbergen at the team next season.

It ended over six months of speculation regarding the seat vacated by Jamie Whincup, who will retire at season's end.

Will Davison and Anton De Pasquale joined the Shell V-Power Racing Team this year, and are set to continue with the team into 2022.

Ford rivals Tickford Racing will expand to four cars in 2022, with 2020 Super2 champion Thomas Randle confirmed for his first full-time campaign.

Cameron Waters, the team’s leading man, is set to race on with the Ford squad next season.

James Courtney and Jack Le Brocq both joined the team in 2020, but their futures remain unclear.

Courtney - who is ninth in the standings - has backing from Boost Mobile, while Le Brocq - who lies 18th overall - will be hoping for improved results in the second half of the year. Tim Slade is also tied to Blanchard Racing Team on a multi-year deal.

David Reynolds is signed with Kelly Grove Racing, which will become Grove Racing in 2022. It's believed Andre Heimgartner will remain with the team for a fifth season.

Chaz Mostert was re-signed at Walkinshaw Andretti United earlier this year, as was Nick Percat at Brad Jones Racing. Who they will be joined by at their respective teams remains unclear, although Todd Hazelwood has expressed his desire to remain with BJR.

After a strong start to 2021, Bryce Fullwood is 14th overall and will be looking for improvement should he be retained by WAU.

Erebus Motorsport entered 2021 with two rookies, and both Will Brown and Brodie Kostecki have all but been assured of 2022 drives.

Mark Winterbottom re-signed with Team 18 last year, and Scott Pye is also likely to remain with Charlie Schwerkolt’s operation.

That leaves Matt Stone Racing and Team Sydney, the latter having locked in Garry Jacobson for next season.

Jake Kostecki and Zane Goddard are both in their first full-time campaigns with MSR, with Coulthard joining Team Sydney from Dick Johnson Racing.
