If you're staying within the Event Precinct during the event weekend, it’s important to be aware of how the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 may affect your access and movement. Arriving BEFORE 12:01am, Friday 24th October 2025 If you are arriving prior to the event weekend starting (before 12:01am Friday 24th October), you will be able to access the event precinct without needing accreditation or event related passes. However, to maintain access throughout the event weekend:
You must purchase AfterHours StayBands upon arrival from your accommodation provider OR the Accreditation Centre.
The AfterHours StayBand must be worn to access the precinct after event hours across all 3 days in conjunction with a valid event ticket.
Arriving AFTER 12:01am, Friday 24th October
From Friday 12:01am Friday 24th October, the precinct becomes a secured zone and the following applies depending on your arrival time:
During Event Hours (approximately 7am – 7pm):
You must scan a valid event ticket at the gate to enter the precinct.
After entry, visit your accommodation provider or the Supercars Accreditation Centre to purchase your AfterHours StayBand.
If stopped by security with luggage, show your booking confirmation (with check-in dates) as proof of stay.
Outside Event Hours:
You must show both:
Your valid event ticket, and
Your booking confirmation (with check-in dates) to security to gain entry.
Once inside, go directly to your accommodation provider to purchase an AfterHours StayBand, which will allow you to move through the precinct after hours and grant entry into your building over the event weekend.
Please Note: Resident Access Passes are not available for Holidaymakers, Resident Access Passes are issued strictly for permanent residents of the Event Precinct for the purpose to get them in and out of their homes during the event. Holidaymakers will need to use the above information and process to get into their accommodation over the event weekend.
