Construction for the event will begin on Monday 15 September. Throughout the build phase, there will be a range of works taking place across the precinct including the installation of safety barriers, grandstands, fencing and event infrastructure. Works will generally occur during daylight hours, however some night work may be required in specific locations. The streets of Surfers Paradise and Main Beach will soon be transformed as preparations begin for the 2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.

From Monday 15 September, construction will begin in and around Main Beach. At various times traffic conditions will be altered and some delays may occur.
Supercars works closely with the City of Gold Coast, Department of Transport and Main Roads, Queensland Police Service, and Translink to deliver the event safely while minimising inconvenience.
Key Information:
Tedder Avenue will remain open for business as usual throughout construction and Event Week.
During Event Week (Monday 20 – Monday 27 October 2025), Main Beach is best accessed via Waterways Drive.
From Cronin Avenue south, Tedder Avenue will be restricted to local traffic only during Event Week.
Residents within the race precinct will be entitled to resident accreditation.
Construction in Surfers Paradise also begins Monday 15 September 2025. Temporary changes to traffic and access will occur at various times.
As with Main Beach, planning is undertaken with key agencies to ensure safety and minimise disruption.

Paradise Waters sits outside the race precinct, meaning residents will retain 24-hour vehicle and pedestrian access to homes and businesses during construction and Event Week.
Paradise Waters residents are not eligible for resident accreditation.

To help ease traffic flow, Queensland Police Service will be stationed at the Admiralty Drive / Gold Coast Highway intersection during peak periods in Event Week.

Wed 22 – Sun 26 October: 7am–7pm (traffic lights operate outside these hours)
Right-turn lane into Paradise Waters (from Southport) will remain open but under police control. Temporary closures may occur (e.g. during transporter convoy access).
To assist residents, the City of Gold Coast will enact the Main Beach Traffic Area over the event weekend with 2-hour parking restrictions in place.
Restrictions apply 9am–5pm, Fri 24 – Sun 26 October 2025.
Resident event parking permits will be distributed by Supercars from the week commencing Monday 13 October.
Delivered to building managers (high-rise) or direct to mailboxes (homes/units).
No application via Council required.
Permits allow extended parking in 2-hour Event Parking zones, but do not override standard Council parking signs. Always check signage.
Additional permits available from the Accreditation Centre, Breaker Street (Mon 20 – Sun 26 October) on presentation of proof of residency.
The Community Team will again distribute event bunting and posters in October. These can be collected from the Accreditation Centre on Breaker Street.
