Tickford’s Autosport program will once again blood the next generation of Supercars hopefuls, beginning with Reuben Goodall at Townsville.
The 22-year-old has been on the rise throughout his relatively short racing career, and now stands as one of the leading lights in the DUNLOP Super2 Series.
The Adelaide native impressed in karting, making the step up to Toyota 86’s as an 18-year-old in 2022, claiming a podium in his rookie season.
Goodall then claimed a further four podiums in 2023, finishing fourth in the standings, before making the step up to Super2 in a Gomersall Motorsport Holden.
Despite a tough first season ended prematurely by a frightening crash in Adelaide qualifying, Goodall moved to Tickford last year, claiming five podiums and fourth in a much improved season.
Such was the impression Goodall made, that Tickford have placed him with Thomas Randle for the enduros, with a wildcard outing in Townsville set to hand him valuable pre-enduro miles.
