Queensland teenager Ben Gomersall will have high expectations going into 2026.
After making his Super2 debut last year with Triple Eight, the 19-year-old moves to the all-conquering Tickford Autosport this season.
Gomersall was quietly impressive in his rookie season, finishing third for the round on debut in Sydney, and going on to claim rookie of the round honours, and sixth overall.
Along with his successful rookie Super2 campaign, Gomersall was also a frontrunner in the TA2 Muscle Car Series, winning three races on route to second in the championship behind Erebus junior Jarrod Hughes.
Gomersall was also a consistent top 10 runner in the Toyota GAZOO Racing Australia GR Cup in 2024, finishing sixth, whilst he is also a Bathurst 6 Hour class winner alongside father and Matt Stone Racing co-owner Jason Gomersall.
