Bayley Hall is the latest young gun tapped to be Craig Lowndes' next co-driver in the Supercheap Auto-backed Chevrolet wildcard program.
The Gold Coaster enters the Supercars pathway off the back of becoming a regular Carrera Cup frontrunner over the past few seasons, and getting a taste of international one-make Porsche action.
Such is the belief in Hall that he was announced as Team 18's wildcard candidate before he had even raced in Super2. Eggleston Motorsport have handed him the keys to the #54 Commodore, a round-winning entry last year.
After just two rounds in the second-tier Porsche Sprint Challenge, Hall was thrown into the deep end with a Carrera Cup ride in 2022.
Inside two years, Hall had gone from last to first, securing a fairytale maiden win on home soil at Surfers Paradise in 2023.
Finishes of sixth, fifth, and fourth across the last three seasons have seen Hall become one of the most highly touted young drivers in the Porsche pipeline, scoring eight wins in the process.
The Gold Coaster has also made cameo appearances in Carrera Cup North America and Italy, whilst in 2020 he became the second-youngest driver to start in the Bathurst 12 Hour aged just 16.
