The iconic Seton name returns to Supercars at four events this season, with third-generation star Aaron Seton set for his biggest main game campaign yet.
Seton returns to the Matt Stone Racing wildcard he co-piloted in last year’s enduros, with solo starts at Townsville and Ipswich a precursor to teaming with full-time rookie Zach Bates at The Bend and Bathurst.
The son of two-time Australian Touring Car Champion Glenn Seton, and grandson of 1965 Bathurst 500 winner, the late Barry ‘Bo’ Seton, Aaron has carved out a fine reputation of his own behind the wheel.
The 28-year-old has twice been a class winner at the Bathurst 12 Hour and 6 Hour, and also won the category that has morphed into the Trans Am Cup Series in 2019.
However, it’s with MSR co-owner Jason Gomersall that Seton has enjoyed great success with in recent years, winning the GT4 Australia Silver-Am Cup together last season.
The duo also combined with 2024 Bathurst winner Todd Hazelwood to finish third outright in the Bathurst 6 Hour last year, securing Seton back-to-back class wins.
Seton also has three Super2 seasons and two Bathurst 1000 starts under his belt, finishing 7th in the 2023 development series with Gomersall, and 14th in the 2022 Great Race with MSR.
