
Aaron Cameron started 2025 on the sidelines as a BRT co-driver. He ended the year leading his first career Supercars laps.
Promoted after Aaron Love's departure one round into the season, Cameron went on a rapid rise at the back end of his first season.
He was well in the game at Bathurst before finishing ninth, and then nailed a maiden Shootout berth on the Gold Coast, before leading from a front row start in Adelaide.
The Victorian made a long-awaited Super2 debut at Sandown in 2023, and was an impressive fourth next time out at Mount Panorama.
In 2024, he raced his first full season of Super2, under a Kelly Racing-prepared Ford Mustang. He won two races and finished second overall in a year he also shared Love's BRT Ford at the enduros.
In Super2, he was partnered by rising star and second-generation driver, Mason Kelly, in a two-pronged Kelly Racing effort, led by 2005 Bathurst winner Todd Kelly.
Cameron made the leap from karts to cars in 2016, starting in Formula Ford.
On his journey, Cameron has raced the likes of V8 Utes, SuperUtes, MARC cars, Hyundai Excels and Toyota 86s.
He found a home with Garry Rogers Motorsport, racing for GRM in TCR Australia and S5000. Cameron finished runner-up in TCR in 2021, and has also made waves overseas, representing Australia in the FIA Motorsport Games in France in 2022.
Cameron won the S5000 category's Tasman Cup in 2021 and 2023, and also took out the overall title in 2023.
He tested with Walkinshaw Andretti United in late 2022 before he got his chance in a Mustang at Sandown in 2023, paving the way to his breakout 2024 Super2 campaign.
