Paddock Pass

The Paddock is where all the behind the scenes action takes place, from inside you can see the teams working in the garages, the amazing purpose built team transporters and maybe even grab an autograph from your favourite driver.  A Paddock Pass does not get you into the event, only the Paddock area.

North Queensland's largest sporting and entertainment event just got bigger with two of Australia’s greatest Aussie Rock legends that will head the entertainment at this year’s Watpac Townsville 400. 

Aussie music royalty John Farnham will lead the celebrations at this year’s spectacular 10th anniversary.

Farnham will be supported on the Saturday night of North Queensland’s largest annual sporting event by fellow Australian rock legend, Daryl Braithwaite, in celebrating a decade of the event.

Some more Aussie music icons are expected to be in Townsville with the Friday night line-up to be announced in the coming weeks.

Kids 12 and under receive free Trackside admission with a paying adult. With plenty of action on track there is something for all kids big and small.

Kids 12 and Under

Kids aged 12 years and under are permitted free access to the event when accompanied by a paying adult.

Kids aged 12 years and under are not permitted into the Fanstand, Grandstand or Corporate areas without a valid Grandstand or Corporate ticket.   Kids 3 years and under can sit on their parents lap for free in the Fanstands or Grandstands. Children 4 years and over require a Fanstand or Grandstand ticket to access these areas.

 Supercars Paddock

The paddock closes 30 mins prior the end of the last Supercars race on each day.

Anyone aged 16 years and under in the paddock must be accompanied by an adult.  

The Paddock will generally be open all day, however note that due to safety concerns, the Paddock can be closed at any time.
