Further, the documentary series takes a look at the remarkable careers of icons of the sport Craig Lowndes and Peter Brock and explores Australia’s great sporting rivalry between Holden and Ford.

Mark Skaife and Neil Crompton will be commentating each session when Supercars hit the track from October 6, while Russell Ingall and Yates analyse the action and all the big talking points across the weekend.

Crompton and Skaife return to host Pit Lane LIVE at 6.30pm AEDT on October 7. The program will be filled with an abundance of challenges, interviews and highlights from the first two days of the event, and will take viewers behind the scenes as drivers and teams prepare for the biggest race weekend of the year.

“The Bathurst 1000 is one of the most iconic sporting events in Australia and with the 10 year anniversary of the Peter Brock Trophy adding to the occasion this year, it’s the perfect opportunity for us to dive deeper into the action and excitement than ever before with our new, dedicated 24/7 channel,” FOX SPORTS CEO Patrick Delany said.

FOX SPORTS News 500 will also be stationed on the ground at Mount Panorama to deliver the latest and breaking news throughout the week.
