Four Supercars teams have received big boosts, announcing new partnerships ahead of this weekend's Australian Grand Prix.

The Repco Supercars Championship will support the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park on March 21-24.

All 24 cars will vie for championship points across four sprint races, with the first — Race 3 of the 2024 season — commencing on Thursday evening.

The two Penrite Racing Fords will carry Hisense branding on the front and rear bumpers. The team has also welcomed new partnerships with D&M Flooring and Windows, Haymes Paint, and InfraBuild.

Earlier this week, the Grove-owned squad also announced extensions with backers Gates, Apex Steel, Tree Cleanup Specialist, and ACL.

"To have a partnership with a global brand like Hisense is a major coup; not just for Grove Racing, but Supercars as a sport,” Grove Racing CEO Brenton Grove said.

"With an incredible pedigree in sporting partnerships, we're thrilled to introduce the Hisense brand to a new and diverse fan base."

On Wednesday, Dick Johnson Racing, BJR and BRT all revealed new backers.

Albury-based BJR has partnered with Australian-owned IT distributor LEADER, which will carry front bar signage on the #14 Middy’s Electrical Camaro.

“We are pleased to welcome the global cyber protection leader, Acronis, with support from LEADER, back to our partner network and through the excellent #TeamUp program,” team owner Jones said.

“It is always a proud moment to be able to work closely with other Australian businesses."

DJR also welcomes support from National Tiles, with branding to feature on the wheel arches of both Shell V-Power Fords.

National Tiles, Australia’s leading tile retailer, formed a partnership with DJR ahead of the team’s 2023 wildcard program for Simona De Silvestro and Kai Allen.

"We're thrilled to embrace National Tiles as part of the Shell V-Power Racing Team family,” DJR CEO David Noble said.

"This partnership builds upon the success of our Wildcard Program, cultivating and growing this relationship to a new level.”

BRT, which expanded to two cars in 2024, announced a new sponsorship with bp and Castrol for the 2024 season, with the brands adorning both Blanchard Fords. bp is a major sponsor of the Repco Supercars Championship, and fuels all 24 cars on race weekends.

"We are thrilled to welcome bp and Castrol to BRT for the 2024 season,” BRT Co-Principal Tim Blanchard said.

"Having these well-known and respected brands associated with BRT is very exciting for us during our expansion phase.”

The new-look cars will hit the track for two practice sessions, two qualifying sessions, and Race 3 on Thursday.
