The Season of Endurance has come to a close, but the co-drivers have made their marks on the 2013 Championship.

Taking control of a main series driver’s car and slotting into V8 Supercars at the most important part of the season – and for the race everyone wants to win, Bathurst – isn’t an easy feat.

They come from various breeding grounds, some with a history in V8 Supercars, some stepping up from the local Dunlop Series, Carrera Cup or V8 Utes. Others have been imported from overseas, competing in an array of categories around the world.

On the contrary two of the three race winners this enduro season, Paul Dumbrell and Dean Canto, are not driving in any other category and have managed to stay race fit and prove themselves in contention.

Craig Lowndes and Warren Luff were awarded the PIRTEK Enduro Cup, meaning they scored the most points over the three events, the Wilson Security Sandown 500, Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 and the weekend’s ARMOR ALL Gold Coast 600, which consisted of two races.

The top 10 co-drivers in the PIRTEK Enduro Cup, after Luff, were Dumbrell, 2013 Bathurst winner Steven Richards, Steve Owen, Craig Baird, Canto, Ryan Briscoe, Nick Percat, Luke Youlden and Jack Perkins. Click here for full PIRTEK Enduro Cup standings, which shows complete pairings.

Of those, seven have stood on the podium – Luff, Dumbrell, Richards, Canto, Owen, Jeroen Bleekemolen and Ryan Briscoe.

So who is your tip for the most valuable co-driver this season?
