  • MSR to visit town on Bunbury on Wednesday May 15

  • MSR driver Hill is 16th in points standings after Round 3

Supaglass Industries will continue as the naming rights partner on Cameron Hill’s Matt Stone Racing Supercar at the upcoming round in Perth.

Hill will steer the #4 Supaglass Chevrolet Camaro at next weekend's Bosch Power Tools Perth SuperSprint, Round 4 of the 2024 season.

Canberra-based glass manufacturer Supaglass stepped up to back Hill’s Camaro at the ITM Taupō Super400, complete with a Kiwi-themed livery.

The livery will remain on the Camaro for next weekend’s event in Western Australia next week, with further rounds to be announced at a later date.

MSR also announced it will visit the town of Bunbury in the lead-up to the Perth round, with an event at Retravision Bunbury scheduled for Wednesday May 15 from 9:00am to 11:00am local time.

“Supaglass have supported me for the last few years, so it’s great for them to be centre stage as the naming rights sponsor for the upcoming round in Perth,” said Hill, who is 16th in the points after three rounds.

“I feel like we’ve had a competitive package at each round so far, just a few things outside our control have hurt the results.

“I’m not letting that bother me, and am focused on putting my best foot forward for Perth. It’s exciting to be heading west again, Perth is a great city…if only it wasn’t so far away!

“The track is very tight, finding clear space in qualifying can sometimes be tricky. The nature of it being such a short lap time means the field spread will be very close.

“A couple tenths can be the difference between the front or back of the field. If we can get our ducks to line up in qualifying, we can certainly challenge for the front.”

The 2024 Repco Supercars Championship will resume at the Bosch Power Tools Perth SuperSprint on May 17-19. Tickets for the Perth event are on sale now. International viewers can follow all the action on Superview.
