Courtney will not run in shootout

Despite earlier reports, Holden Racing Team's #22 will not participate in the ARMOR ALL Top 10 Shootout.

It has been debated whether the rules allow the James Courtney/Greg Murphy entry to run as part of the top 10, given Garth Tander/Warren Luff's #2 Commodore qualified 11th fastest yesterday before withdrawing from the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 earlier today after a huge smash in morning practice.

Roland Dane confirmed earlier that Triple Eight would protest against #22 participating, after the original announcement.
