The winner of what is now known as the Dunlop Super2 Series in 2000 and '05, Dean Canto has been a Supercars regular for the best part of two decades.

This year, he shifts to the Brad Jones Racing-run Team CoolDrive to partner rookie Macauley Jones in the PIRTEK Enduro Cup.

Canto was a Tickford Racing co-driver from 2008-18, joining the team following two full-time seasons at Garry Rogers Motorsport.

His Tickford tenure included drives alongside Paul Dumbrell, David Reynolds and Mark Winterbottom.

With Reynolds, Canto finished second at Bathurst in 2012 and took a Supercars victory at the Gold Coast two years later.

Canto was the winner of the maiden Super2 Series in 2000, then known as V8 Lites, in a privately-run EL Falcon.

Between main game stints with Briggs Motorsport/Triple Eight and GRM, he became Super2's first two-time winner five years later, with Dick Johnson Racing.

When he is not racing Supercars, Canto runs a performance driving school as well as undertaking driver coaching and TV and film work.
