The Townsville Tin Tops opens up the opportunity for drivers with varying experience, the chance to race all manner of cars on the streets of Townsville.

The Tin Tops category was created in 2020 in order to allow grassroots motorsport to get back up and running following the COVID-19 lockdown.

This will be the first appearance of the category at a Supercars event in 2021, following on from its popular outing in Townsville in 2020. The Tin Tops is a combined category for all types of racing vehicles, spread across several classes - Super3, Super Production, Super Sports, Super Touring, Super Tranz, Super Stuttgart and Super Saloons.
