TEKNO Autosports was formed by the Webb family in 2011 to compete in the V8 Supercars Championship, following Jonathon Webb's rookie season in 2010.

Starting as a one-car Ford entry for Webb, TEKNO fast evolved to a two-car Holden team in 2012, and in 2013 prized Kiwi racer Shane van Gisbergen joined the team, supporting TEKNO in its most competitive V8 Supercars campaign to date.

For 2014, TEKNO has focused on a one-car operation, with van Gisbergen again piloting the #97 V.I.P. Petfoods Commodore. The team will be guided by the international experience of new general manager Steve Hallam while Webb has stepped back from full-time competition and will oversee TEKNO’s daily operations.

Steve’s vast motorsport and business experience coupled with Jonathon’s technical knowledge will provide the team a strong foundation in their pursuit of V8 Supercars Championship success.
