- Super Black Racing
Super Black Racing has extended its technical partnership with Prodrive Racing Australia to again run as a satellite operation in 2016, after completing its maiden season in the Championship in 2015.
In 2016 Super Black welcomes former V8 Ute Series Champion Chris Pither to pilot the #111 FG X Falcon, after pleasing performances as a stand-in driver at the WD-40 Phillip Island SuperSprint and Coates Hire Sydney 500 in 2015. Pither brings his V8 Utes and Dunlop Series sponsor Ice Break Iced Coffee with him, becoming the major sponsor on the car for the 2016 season.
Super Black Racing was created in early 2014 after its team owners saw the need for a New Zealand based team that could offer young Kiwi drivers the opportunity to advance their motor racing career, along with giving the ever-strong Kiwi fans a team to cheer for.
