Erebus Motorsport and Boost Mobile have coaxed two Kiwi aces out of retirement.
Greg Murphy and Richie Stanaway will share the #51 Commodore in Bathurst.
The wildcard is the brainchild of Boost Mobile founder Peter Adderton.
COVID-19 prevented the car from racing in 2021, but it has been revived for 2022.
Murphy, a four-time Bathurst winner, last raced at Mount Panorama in 2014.
Stanaway, 19 years Murphy's junior, retired from racing after the 2019 season.
Both drivers are at different stages of their careers, with Stanaway's story far from done.
What can the mercurial Kiwis, with the backing of Erebus, achieve aboard their fan-favourite wildcard?
