Dunlop is synonymous with industry-leading, innovative tyre designs for motorsports and has been at the forefront of global motorsport development for over 130 years.

The 2019 season is Dunlop’s 18th year supplying the Virgin Supercars Championship and Dunlop Super2 Series – and having extended its fifth-successive tyre contract Dunlop remains the official control tyre supplier until the end of the 2019 season. Dunlop has supplied well over 250,000 tyres to date.

In 2019, Dunlop Young Guns is the first of two digital content series produced by Dunlop and aims to support up and coming motorsport talent. Hosted by motorsport specialist Greg Rust, the program will recognise key young drivers as voted by a panel of industry experts. The Young Gun driver who tops the votes at the end of the season will be awarded a cash prize and further support for their future driving career thanks to Dunlop.

Dunlop Designated Driver is the second Dunlop series in 2019 and will feature fans’ favourite drivers as they take host Greg Rust around their home towns. With everything on the table, drivers will have the chance to talk to Rusty about life and racing, giving fans a chance to get a better glimpse into their personalities and lives off the track.

Dunlop will again offer the ‘soft’ and ‘supersoft’ specification tyres for the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship. The Dunlop Super2 Series will compete on the hard compound tyre.
