A new digital television series, the Dunlop Last Lap, will showcase the lighter side of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship to fans in 2018.

Dunlop Last Lap will feature a light-hearted and entertaining review of a race weekend.

The program will be shot after all Dunlop Super2 Series rounds in 2018 and will be filled with humour, controversy and insights into the world of Supercars.

The new series will be available to view exclusively on and the Supercars App.

Dunlop is synonymous with industry-leading, innovative tyre designs for motorsports and has been at the forefront of motorsport development for over 130 years.

The 2018 season will mark Dunlop’s 17th supplying the Virgin Supercars Championship and Dunlop Super2 Series – and having extended its fifth-successive tyre contract – Dunlop will continue its role as the official control tyre supplier until at least the end of the 2019 season.

This will mark an 18-year partnership with Supercars and a supply of around 250,000 Dunlop tyres for the Championship by 2019’s end.

Coming off a 2017 season where unprecedented wet weather meant Dunlop supplied a record number of tyres and where lap records were broken in every Australian race, Dunlop is looking forward to whatever 2018 brings.

New cars, such as the ZB Commodore, and a new circuit at The Bend Motorsport Park will keep the challenges coming thick and fast

Dunlop will again offer the ‘soft’ and ‘supersoft’ specification tyres for the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship. The Dunlop Super2 Series will compete on the hard compound tyre
