Autograph Session

Come along to the Supercars Paddock on Sunday for the opportunity to meet the drivers and grab an autograph. Each driver will appear at the back of their garage for half an hour. Paddock Passes are required to enter the Supercars Paddock.

This is your chance to ask the big questions! Supercars stars Rick Kelly, Garth Tander and rookie Todd Hazelwood will be in the Island Pavilion for a press conference where the fans take to the mic. There is limited space so if you have a question make sure you get there early.

The WD-40 Phillip Island 500 has something for kids big and small with a rock climbing wall, inflatable obstacle challenge, interactive jumping castle and much more.

Helicopter Rides

Each year Supercars enthusiasts enjoy the thrill of taking a helicopter flight over the track to not only get a birds-eye view of the Island, but also see the grand spectacle of race day. 

Phillip Island Helicopters will be conducting helicopters joy flights on race weekend, plus offer the opportunity to get that fast trip Transfer to and from the WD-40 Phillip Island 500 from numerous locations around Melbourne. 


Phillip Island Helicopters transfers can really save you time and the hassle coming to the Island. Phillip Island Helicopters will be conducting transfers to the WD-40 Phillip Island 500 from many easy locations:

  • Essendon Airport
  • Morrabbin Airport
  • Hastings (Tyabb Airport)
  • Tooradin Airport

Or maybe you would like the Park-N-Fly option: you simply park at Phillip Island Airport and they can fly you straight to the track without trying to find a close parking spot. Park-N-Fly is popular, so you will need to book early.

Melbourne’s Old School Cruisers club are joining the WD-40 Phillip Island 500 with some of Melbourne’s finest street machines, featuring Aussie and US muscle, drag cars, street cars, hot rods and everything in between.

Hot Wheels Stunt Team

Australia’s top stuntman Matt Mingay and his crew are the notorious Hot Wheels Stunt Team. With an adrenaline-filled display of dangerous and spectacular motorbike stunts this is a show not to be missed. You can also catch them out on track for some rubber-burning madness in their brand new Nascar powered Camaro and Mustang Drift Cars. You’re guaranteed the boys will be pushing it to the limit with an array of spectacular stunts. Keep your eyes peeled for these boys over the weekend or go say hi at their Hot Wheels trailer in merchandise alley.



Over the break they have built two custom world class drift cars to demonstrate drifting at the Supercars events nationwide. There was no better choice of car other than a Camaro and Mustang to represent the Hot Wheels brand.

The Flair Action Sports Arena will come alive with an off-track adrenaline rush of fast, fun and extreme action on Trials motorcycles and BMX! Flair Riders are a team of top stunt riders from all over Australia who will be performing so close you can give them a hi-five when you like their tricks! An action-packed show with laughs along the way that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat and smiling all the while.
