Haltech SuperUte Series
After four years of developing Gen II, the V8 SuperUte Series is more relevant and more exciting than ever; for the sport, competitors, commercial partners, and as a platform supporting both the automotive workforce as well as a fast-growing consumer market.
Launched in 2018, the series as created as a successor to the V8 Ute Racing Series and are run as a support category to the Repco Supercars Championship throughout Australia.
Former champions include Ryal Harris (2018 and 2021), Tom Alexander (2019), and Aaron Borg (2022). In 2023, six manufacturers are represented including Ford, Holden, Isuzu, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota.
WA Historic Touring Car Club
The first appearance of a Group N Historic Touring Car in WA was at the Australian Touring Car Championship (ATCC) Round at Wanneroo Racetrack (as it was then known) on 31 March 1985. This entry was a Fiat 1500 and was the sole ‘App. J’ entry in the field. The club was loosely formed as the ‘WA Appendix J Group’ in 1987 and morphed into the current WA Historic Touring Car Club by 1989 – making our Club now 32 years old.
The main car of choice in the early days was the Mini Cooper S, but by 1989 the stream of V8s was noticeable and led to a mixed local crop including Mustang, Rallye Sprint, BelAir and Galaxie. With a resurgence in the popularity of 1960-70’s car era the grid today resembles the finest of the time. HQ Monaro’s, Falcon GT’s, Valiant Chargers, Xu1 Torana’s, Capri’s, Lotus Cortinas, Minis, Mustangs and the ever crowd pleasing Camaro, Galaxie and BelAir, 1600 Datsuns and yes even a Volvo. The WAHTCC have supported Supercars Australia on many occasions and look forward to continuing our long association in 2023 and beyond.

Official Charity - Eat Up
Eat Up provides free lunches to disadvantaged school children who would otherwise go without.
It may come as a shock that there are kids in Australia going hungry. Sadly, 1 in 5 Australian kids have experienced food insecurity in the last 12 months.
In a country like ours, that's not really fair is it? Missing out on lunch has a big impact on children, with hunger causing fatigue and poor concentration. This commonly leads to learning difficulties and behavioral problems in school, with disadvantaged children falling further behind their peers. Many children come from homes experiencing financial hardship, substance abuse, violence, homelessness or are refugees.
Eat Up works with volunteers who love where they live and want to get hands on to make a difference in their own communities. The old adage 'many hands make light work' has never been more true than when in reference to Eat Up - volunteers make over 2500 sandwiches that are delivered to 88 schools across Perth, together with fresh fruit, Chobani yogurt, and Messy Monkeys snacks, every school week.
Nationally, that community generosity allows Eat Up to help over 650 schools across WA, as well as NT, Qld, NSW and Vic, making and delivering more than 2.5 million lunches so far.
We're grateful for this opportunity to showcase this important cause thanks to Supercars, and we would love to work together with more passionate locals to volunteer with us!
