Updated sponsorship for Holdsworth in Perth

Walkinshaw Racing's Team 18 has today unveiled a new commercial partnership for the 2015 V8 Supercars Championship.

The Walkinshaw Performance, Dealers of Australia (Walkinshaw Performance Products) will be featured on Lee Holdsworth's Holden VF Commodore for all remaining rounds of the season.

To highlight the association, the #18 V8 Supercar rolled out of the truck in full WPP livery for this weekend's Perth Super Sprint.

Commenting on the new partnership, Charlie Schwerkolt, Team 18 Team Principal said:

"I am very excited to have Walkinshaw Performance Products coming on board, particularly as the title sponsor for Perth.

With a rich and successful history of dealer partnerships, Walkinshaw Racing are enthusiastic about the new collaboration.

Since the HSV Dealer Team concluded racing in 2008, there has been a desire for Walkinshaw to reignite the race team/dealer relationship.

The Perth SuperSprint gets underway this Friday at Barbagallo Raceway, with on track action kicking off from 10:30am AWST.
